Virtual Reality FAQ

What is Virtual Reality (VR)?
Virtual Reality is known as immersive multimedia or a 3D computer-simulated reality. Rather than watching on a screen, the user is fully immersed in the experience and able to interact with it, whether it is reflective of the real world or fictional.

Is this the same VR on my phone?

If you have tried GearVR, then congratulations on making the first step. Our VR headsets are state-of-the-art and require high powered PCs to run them. The main difference is room-scale play space, where instead of feeling like you are watching, you become part of the action. Check it out today!

What are the benefits of VR?
Users have the ability to completely immerse themselves in a different world of entertainment or education, blurring the lines between realities. Virtual Reality is beneficial to all ages from children to seniors and can even cure phobias with repeated exposure. There are applications for depression, artistic & musical skill enhancement, speech training, education, and entertainment.

I am not a gamer, is VR for me?
Yes, Virtual Reality has applications for everyone. Aside from entertainment, there are applications for depression, artistic & musical skill enhancement, speech training, education, VR experiences (underwater adventures & seeing the northern lights), and also immersive 3D movies. Our VR Specialists will give you a brief tutorial upon your arrival and aid you with all that you need.

No, but we have voice chat so you can talk to your friends. Each room only has the play space for one headset so each headset has their own room.

Guests must arrive 10 minutes prior to their booking for the game play instructions and discussion. Otherwise, this time allotted for debriefing will shorten their play time.
